Want to host Shabbat dinner in your home?

The Riverdale Jewish Project hosts monthly Shabbat Dinners at CSAIR Synagogue and in people’s homes.
Covid 19 Policy
- Host and guests must be vaccinated and are required to provide a copy of a negative over the counter COVID-19 test. Email shabbat@riverdalejewish.org
- Masks must be worn at all times other than eating or drinking.
- Windows must be open/and or fans or air conditioning must circulate air.
Staying Home or Canceling a Dinner When Appropriate.
1. Hosts must cancel if:
They have tested positive or are showing symptoms of COVID-19
- Guests may not attend if:
- They have tested positive or are showing symptoms of COVID-19
- Guests must use the CDC, COVID-19 Symptom Self-Checker
- The responsibility of the host is to keep an updated list of guests who attend for potential contact tracing needs.
- Check for updated information about any COVID-19 safety guidelines for social activities.

Interested in hosting a Shabbat Dinner?
Please fill out this form at least 3 weeks in advance of the date you would like to host your Shabbat meal. In order to be reimbursed, each host will need to have a conversation with our Shabbat Coordinator, before the Shabbat experience they are planning, as well as submit receipts and a guest list after your meal. And yes, you can participate in the summer too!
